Google Analytics integration

See how much traffic each page of your sitemap gets. Octopus.do pulls views, users and average engagement time for the last 30 days from your Google Analytics 4 property and shows them next to every page in SEO mode.

Connect. Turn on SEO mode (the chart icon at the bottom of the artboard), click Google Analytics in the top bar and press Connect. Sign in with the Google account that can read the property and pick the property from the list. Octopus.do gets read-only access and never writes to your Analytics. If the list says No properties available, sign in with another account or ask the property owner for Viewer access.

Who can do what. Only the project owner on Pro or Team connects, switches or disconnects Analytics. Everyone who can open the project, share links included, sees the numbers.

Pages get numbers by address. The Page URL of a page in the SEO panel is compared with the page path in Analytics; the domain, query string, trailing slash and letter case don't matter. no URL means the page has no address yet. no data means Analytics had no visits for that path in the last 30 days — usually the path differs from the live one.

Fresh numbers. Numbers can be up to 12 hours old. To get them now, click the site name in the top bar and press Resync now.

Switch or disconnect. Click the site name and press Disconnect — only this project is affected. To use another property, connect again. If the button says Reconnect, Google no longer accepts our access, usually because Octopus.do was removed in your Google account permissions. Press it and allow access again.
